What we collect, and what we do not
Not collected
- No IP addresses are stored.
- No names, emails or anything that identifies a person.
- No cookies. No ad tracking.
- There is no sign-up.
Collected
Only enough to know which articles are read:
- Country and city (as determined by Cloudflare from the connection)
- Where you came from (search, X, direct)
- Which page, and how many seconds you stayed
- Device type and display language
All of this is deleted automatically after 40 days and is kept in a form that cannot follow an individual.
Stored in your browser
To show "new since your last visit", the time of your last visit is kept in your browser only. It is never sent to us.
When we connect to other services
- Pages that show posts from X will connect to X, and X may record your visit. On the front page, nothing is sent to X until you press the button.
- News photos are served through our own server, so the original site never sees your IP address.

Some links are affiliate links, always marked PR. No personal information of yours reaches us when you use them.
About AI
We use Cloudflare Workers AI to translate English headlines into Japanese. Only publicly published headlines and summaries are sent. Cloudflare states it does not train on or store this content.
